Prof. Dr. Mohammed Al-Azri

Family Medicine

Prof. Dr. Mohammed Al-Azri is a distinguished clinician and academician in Family Medicine, with extensive experience in both clinical practice and medical education. He earned his Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Sultan Qaboos University (SQU), Oman, and completed his Family Medicine residency under the Oman Medical Specialty Board (OMSB).

He holds internationally recognized clinical qualifications from the Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP), UK, including MRCGP (International) and FRCGP (International), along with advanced academic degrees - a Master of Medical Sciences in Primary Care and a PhD from the University of Leeds, UK.

Prof. Al-Azri has played a significant role in teaching, research, and postgraduate supervision at the College of Medicine and Health Sciences, Sultan Qaboos University, and Sultan Qaboos University Hospital (SQUH). He has supervised family medicine residents and postgraduate students at Master’s and PhD levels.

His clinical practice is centered on comprehensive, patient-centered family medicine, combining preventive care with long-term disease management and acute care for adults and children.
