Dr Wahid Khan is Specialist Internal Medicine & Acute Care with over 16+ years of experience. He had completed his medical graduation from the prestigious Aligarh Muslim University and did his internship from Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Aligarh, India. He had completed his post graduate MD in Internal Medicine in 2009 from the same institute. He had been actively pursuing his career and kept himself involved in academics and regular CME and workshops. He had been awarded prestigious Fellowship of College of Chest Physicians in 2014 and had been also awarded Fellowship of American College of Physicians in 2016.
After his post graduate study, he was associated with Cardiology Dept of Escorts Heart Institute & GB Pant Hospital New Delhi. He had also worked for a short period of time with All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS - New Delhi) as Registrar Medicine. He had moved to Oman in January 2011 and had since worked at the Cardiology Dept of SQUH and Internal Medicine Dept of Armed Force Hospital Oman while in his capacity of Specialist Internal Medicine at Royal Court Affairs.He is experienced to handle life critical conditions which require constant monitoring and comprehensive care.
