Dr. Obaid Al Hubaishi

Dr. Obaid Al-Hubaishi is a highly skilled Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon with specialized expertise in hip and knee replacement, knee sports injuries, and arthroscopy. He began his medical journey at Sultan Qaboos University, earning his MD in 2015.

He completed his Orthopedic Surgery residency at Dalhousie University, Canada, in 2023, followed by two advanced subspecialty fellowships at the same institution:

  • Hip & Knee Arthroplasty and Reconstruction (2024)
  • Joint Preservation, Sports Medicine & Arthroscopy (2025)

During his fellowship training, Dr. Al-Hubaishi gained extensive experience in robotic hip and knee joint replacement and received MAKO robotic-surgery certification in 2024. Passionate about advancing orthopedic care in Oman, he aims to introduce state-of-the-art robotic joint replacement technology to the country in the near future.

Dr. Al-Hubaishi currently serves as a Consultant in Hip & Knee Replacement, Sports Knee Injuries, and Arthroscopy at Khoula Hospital, and is also a Visiting Consultant at Apollo Super Specialty Hospital, Al Hail. He provides comprehensive, evidence-based care for patients with complex joint and sports-related conditions.
