On the occasion of the 50th National Day, Apollo Hospitals Muscat has launched a much-awaited service – Apollo Homecare with the Ministry of Health’s protocol.  The service was inaugurated by Saeed bin Sultan Yarub Al Busaidi, Undersecretary of Culture, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth in the presence of other dignitaries.

Apollo takes the ‘home’ advantage “We wanted to take Apollo’s services to the next level and since homecare is the new buzzword and what societies crave for all types of patients, especially our elderly patients and others who might be weak and homebound, we decided to go ahead with this brand new service for our patients,” said VT Saileshwaran, Managing Director of Apollo hospitals Muscat.

He noted that home medical services, especially among Muscat’s geriatric population, are a necessity. “This home service that we offer will greatly reduce the stress that the patient and the family members go through when confronted with ailments. Accordingly, our medical team has planned out various services the patients can receive from Apollo without leaving their homes,” Saileshwaran added.
