With more than three decades of experience in the field of joint arthroscopy and joint replacement, Prof. Dr. Vladimir Martinek is one of the renowned orthopedic surgeons in Germany.

After his graduation from LM University in Munich, Germany, he gathered experience from the Harvard University in Boston, USA, from UCSF in San Francisco, USA and  Baragwanath Hospital in Johannesburg, South Africa. Later he received fellowships in knee surgery at the University in Basel, Switzerland and a sports medicine fellowship at the University Pittsburgh, USA.

He is well-known for his clinical and surgical decision-making skills. He has conducted more than 15,000 surgeries which includes, arthroplasty, arthroscopies and minimally invasive joint replacement and reconstruction surgeries.
